7 days use of a SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker, including the following services:

OK Messaging: Send an unlimited number of location messages to up to 9 e-mail and/or SMS addresses
Help Messaging: Send your location and non-emergency distress signal for non-authority assistance (you choose e-mail/SMS)
GEOS 911: Send your location to GEOS Worldwide emergency distress dispatch service for Search and Rescue by the nearest authority
Tracking: Automatically updates your own, sharable tracking map every 10-30 minutes depending on terrain.

When you rent a SPOT, you tell us when you need it, and how fast you want to ship it. (Standard is 2-3 business days, Express is 1-2 business days). We get it to you according to your instructions, and after your adventure, you simply put it back in the box, affix the return shipping label that we provide, and drop it in the mail.

NOTE: Shipping time does NOT use up your rental time. Put your desired receipt date in the "Order Comments", and we make sure you get the unit 0-2 days before that date, and your rental period starts on the date you put down.

NOTE: Return shipping is always by USPS Priority Mail ($5). Shipping the unit to you is determined at time of order, based on your urgency. 3-4 days = Priority Mail (approx. $5), 1-2 days = Express Mail (approx. $16-24).

NOTE: Batteries are NOT included (liability reasons). Upon receipt, please insert 2 AA Lithium batteries before usage, and bring along a spare set for backup.
